Challenge:
META aimed to visually capture the essence of its show *Are We There Yet* starring Keke Palmer, which explores the future of technology and the role of the metaverse. They needed a skilled photographer to convey the show’s futuristic themes while also engaging their audiences across multiple platforms.
Approach:
Initially brought on as the key photographer in the first season, I suggested incorporating behind-the-scenes content to provide an immersive look into the production process. While META initially decided to hold off, my engagement on social media and the success of the season 1 paved the way for an expanded role in season 2.
Results:
- I was rehired not only as the key photographer for season 2 but also as an influencer, tasked with creating behind-the-scenes content showcasing my experience on set.
- This dual role allowed me to blend my expertise in photography with influencer marketing, contributing to META’s broader strategy of engaging audiences through creative storytelling about the metaverse.
- The project significantly enhanced my visibility as both a photographer and content creator within the tech and media space.
JORDAN
Challenge:
Jordan Brand sought to amplify its presence in the sneaker culture through dynamic visual content and engaging storytelling for their sneaker drops and other campaigns.
Approach:
I began by creating independent content geared around their sneakers and clothing, showcasing unique angles and vibrant compositions to highlight the footwear’s and clothing’s design and detail. This grassroots effort caught the attention of the Jordan team, leading to an opportunity to have my work featured on the SNKRS app during one of their major shoe drops. Each time that specific pair is re-released, my photo is prominently displayed as the first image, solidifying my association with the brand.
Results:
- My initial feature on the SNKRS app opened doors to multiple collaborations with Jordan Brand.
- I have since worked both in front of and behind the camera on various projects, creating compelling content that resonates with the brand’s audience.
- The partnership enhanced my visibility within the sneaker and creative photography community, strengthening my professional portfolio.
